Alternative Renewable Energy in Alaska Meetup Group & Anchorage Resiliency Sustainability Meetup Group will be co-sponsoring some fun hands-on activities for kids & adults to learn @ renewable energy, energy conserv., & sustainable living, ie: make your own LED flashlight, solar mini car, wind powered radio, or plant a medicinal herb & how to use it, etc. We would like to invite this meetup group to join us.
We’ll also create some adult learning activities like basics of solar, wind, geo, hydro, etc energy so we’re better informed renewable energy seekers.
We will need at least 4 families w/kids & a few w/o kids to commit to helping about 4 months. If you are interested, please bring your ingenious ideas & general time frame of what works for you, & your interests & RSVP to this planning meeting Sat 11/15 sat 11-1pm at Park and Play 6901 E. Tudor Rd,
